JBH Wines are produced in the world-famous McLaren Vale wine region, just 40 minutes south of Adelaide. The region boasts rich, fertile soil and is home to some of the world’s oldest and most respected vineyards.
With over 120 acres of boutique JBH Vineyard is located in the heartland of the McLaren Vale wine region, at picturesque Kangarilla, Maslins Beach and McLaren ValeThe vineyard is planted with a number of grape varieties, many on vines that are more than a century old.
These include Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, Grenache, Chenin Blanc, Merlot, Sangiovese, Chardonnay, Viognier and Verdelho fruit.
Our Shiraz was planted in 1915 and bush vine Grenache in 1920
These heritage vines are a symbol of the traditional values that underpin the JBH wine collection.
The McLaren Vale region is best known for Shiraz, but it also has an excellent reputation for its ultra-premium Grenache and Cabernet.
